About the Meghalaya Tour:

In Meghalaya, you can visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and explore the crystal-clear waters of Dawki. Trekking and caving in Meghalaya offer thrilling experiences, with caves like Siju and Liat Prah to discover. Whether you’re in Meghalaya for its natural beauty or its peaceful villages, the state promises a memorable journey.

Arrival at Guwahati Airport – Shillong (100 km / 03 hrs. approx.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport you will get a warm welcome and transfer to Shillong. On the way visit “Umiam Lake” which is also known as “Barapani Lake” where you can do boating (by yourself) as you reach, Shillong peak and view point check in to your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. If our want you can visit Ward”s lake, Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong (110 km / 04 hrs. approx. | One way)

Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Cherrapunji – the wettest place on the earth, on the way, visit Mawkdok Valley – a very prominent sightseeing spot. Nohsngithiang Falls and Nokalikai falls, Seven Sisters Falls is the next attraction on the way. The falls is an epitome of unity of the seven states of north east India, thus the name. Up next are Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park from Eco Park, you also catch a glimpse of Sylhet plains Neighbouring Bangladesh. Enjoying the scenic route, you will go back to Shillong hotel for a restful sleep.

Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki – Shillong (160 kms / 05 hrs.
approx. | One way)

After an early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest
Village”. Mawlynnong Village offers many interesting sights such as the Jingmaham living root bridge and another strange Natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy a breath-taking view of the Umngot River, Wah Umngot , Also experienced boat riding at Dawki River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

Shillong – Kaziranga (260kms/07hrs. approx.)

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga. On the way visit
Don Bosco Museum. As reach check in to the hotel. In the evening visit Orchid Park for Cultural Dance programmes – which will show case Tea Garden Dance (Jhumur) and Assam’s proud – Bihu Dance along with Karbi Bamboo Dance & many more. After visiting, return back to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

Kaziranga NationalPark

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer,Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then Tiger also.It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. After sightseeing transfer to Guwahati. As each check in to the hotel. In the evening enjoy Sunset Cruise at Brahmaputra River (depends on weather & availability on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

Guwahati sightseeing – Guwahati Airport

Mornings after breakfast check out from the hotel and as you reach,you can visit maa Kamakhya Temple,Basistha Ashram Temple and Saraighat Bridge.Aftersightseeing we shall escort you to the Guwahati Airport. Tour concludes, tour ends with sweet memories

● Between 1 month – 20 days before the trip, 15% cancellation charges will be deducted
● Between 19 days to the previous day of the trip, 100% cancellation charges will be deducted
