Hampi’s Virupaksha Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, stands majestically along the banks of the Tungabhadra River, its towering gopuram welcoming pilgrims and tourists alike. The temple’s inner sanctum, adorned with ancient frescoes and carvings, reflects the spiritual essence of Hampi.

Hampi’s Vittala Temple is an architectural marvel, famous for its iconic stone chariot and the fascinating musical pillars that produce melodious sounds when tapped. The temple complex showcases the artistic and engineering brilliance of the Vijayanagara period. The Lotus Mahal, with its blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, served as a royal retreat and remains one of Hampi’s most elegant structures. Nearby, the Elephant Stables, with their arched chambers and domed ceilings, offer a glimpse into the grandeur of royal life in Hampi.

DAY 01

Bangalore to hampi and sightseeing

*Start your journey early in the morning at 4:00 AM towards hampi. First check in to the hotel and After fresh up visit below said places.
*Start your exploration with Virupaksha Temple, the iconic temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
*Explore Hampi Bazaar and the nearby Hemakuta Hill, with panoramic views of the ruins.
*Head to Vittala Temple Complex to witness the stunning architecture and the famous Stone Chariot.
*Don’t miss the Musical Pillars inside the Vittala Temple.
*Visit Sunset Point (near Matanga Hill) for a beautiful sunset view over the ruins.
*Return to the hotel and enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant.

DAY02

Hampi Exploration

*After breakfast, explorethe below mentioned places.
*Badavi Linga and the Stepped Tank near the Virupaksha Temple.
*Visit Achyutaraya Temple, a hidden gem away from the main tourist trail.
*Visit King’s Balance, a huge structure used for weighing the king.
*Visit Hampi Archeological Museum to understand the history and significance of the monuments around.
*Explore the Royal Enclosure, which includes Mahanavami Dibba, Lotus Mahal, and Elephant Stables.
*Visit Queen’s Bath (Rani Vav) and the Hazara Rama Temple.
*Visit the Anegundi region (across the river) to see the lesser-known sites like Pampa Sarovara and Anjaneya Hill (birthplace of Lord Hanuman).

DAY03

Hampi to Badami (Travel to Badami) and local sightseeing

*After breakfast checkout from the hotel and en-route to Badami and vsit checkin to the hotel and visit below said places.
*Visit the Badami Caves, a collection of rock-cut temples dedicated to Hindu deities like Shiva, Vishnu, and Jain Tirthankaras.
*Explore the Badami Fort, which offers stunning views of the town and surrounding areas.
*Visit Agastya Lake and enjoy the sunset views.
Overnight stay in the hotel

DAY04

Badami, Aihole & Pattadakallu and local sightseeing

*After breakfast checkout from the hotel and en-route to Aihole and visit below said places before returning back to Bangalore.
*Visit the Durga Temple, known for its beautiful architecture.
*Explore Chandranatha Basadi, Ravalphadi Cave Temple, and Galaganatha Temples. These showcase the early Chalukyan style of architecture.
*Pattadakallu temple – Sri Virupaksha temple is the UNESCO world heritagesight.
