Chikkamagaluru Or Chikkamagaluru is a district in the state of Karnataka. Coffee was first cultivated in Chikkamagaluru in India. The Chikkamagaluru Mountains, which are part of the Western Ghats, are the source of rivers like Tunga and Bhadra. It is located in the Mullayagiri district of Karnataka, the highest peak.

DAY01

Bangalore to Chikkamagaluru
Start your journey in the morning from Bangalore and visit en route to Chikkamagaluru and visit below mentioned places,

1.Belur – Belur is a town and taluk in Hassan district in the state of
Karnataka, India. The town is renowned for its Chennakeshava Temple dedicated to Vishnu, one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture and the largest Hindu temple complex that has survived from pre-14th-century Karnata-Dravida tradition.

2.Halebedu – Located in Hassan district, the small town of Halebeedu once served as the regal capital of the Hoysala empire (10th to 14th centuries) and attracts tourists from all parts of the country for its magnificent temples. The prime attractions in Halebeedu are the twin temples of Hoysaleshwara and Kedareshwara.

3.Yagachi Back waters : It is famous for adventures water activities like
Jetski ride, Bumper ride, Kayaking, Banana ride, Speed boat ride etc.,, After seeing above places check-in to the hotel and rest for the day.

Chikkamagaluru sightseeing

After breakfast in the morning, visit below mentioned natural beauties of Chikkamagaluru
1.Hirekolale lake – It was built as a source to supply water for drinking and irrigation purposes to the town of Chikkamagaluru. The lake is encompassed by gorgeous surroundings and offers a serene retreat for people coming along with friends and family wishing to have a great time

2.Mullayanagiri peak. – Mullayyanagiri is the highest peak in Karnataka,
India. Mullayyanagiri is located in the Chandra Dhrona Hill Ranges of the Western Ghats of Chikkamagaluru Taluk. With a height of 1,925 metres, it is the highest peak in Karnataka and also the 23rd highest peak in Western Ghats.

3.Bababudan giri / Datta peeta – Baba Budangiri, also known as
Chandradrona, is a hill and mountain range in the Western Ghats of India, located in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. The main peaks in this range are the eponymous Baba Budangiri, Mullayanagiri and others. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak in the range

4.Jhari falls or Butter milk falls. – It’s a beautiful water falls which is near to the the Mullayanna giri peak, its flows in the dense jungle and can play in the falls with no danger.
After all the sightseeing of the above mentioned places overnight stay in the hotel.

DAY03

Chikkamagaluru sight seeing & return to Bangalore

After breakfast check out from the hotel, visit best scenic spots of Chikkamagaluru before headed back to Bangalore.
1.Z point – It’s a view point and have to hike and it is a little challenging and surrounded by beautiful surroundings that are replete with lush green valleys.

2.Bhadra wild life safari – Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area and tiger reserve as part of the Project Tiger, situated in Chikkamagaluru district, 23 km south of Bhadravathi city, 38 km 20 km from Tarikere town, northwest of Chikkamagaluru

3.Coffee Musium – In the heart of coffee country, the Coffee Museum gives insights into the nuances of coffee cultivation, right from picking to grinding, through demonstrations by a coffee expert

4.Habbe waterfalls – Hebbe falls are about 10 km from Kemmangundi hill station and about 13 km by a 4 wheel drive Jeep to the falls. Trek here to enjoy the realm of nature, with the magnificent views of the forest. Hidden inside the Bhadra wildlife sanctuary. Plenty of leeches around so better to cover head to foot. The cool air, the sound, and the bounteous beauty of the falls are a pure delight.The panoramic view of the surrounding forest and the coffee plantation is awesome.

After completion of the sightseeing return back to Bangalore with beautiful memories.
