DAY02

South Goa sightseeing

After breakfast start your journey to South Goa and visit below mentioned places.
01.Mangeshi temple – The Mangueshi temple or the Manguesh Devasthan is perhaps the most famous of all Goan temples. It is located at Priol in Ponda taluka, about 21 kilometers from the capital city of Panaji. The surrounding area is known as Mangueshi. In ancient times the temple was located at Kushasthali (presently known as Cortalim).

02.Old Churches (Mainly Xt. Xavier church) – The basilica is located in Old Goa, the former capital of Portuguese India, and holds the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier. The Baroque style main altar is gilded and bears the statue of Ignatius of Loyola standing between Solomonic pillars above which is the name of Jesus in the IHS monogram and the Holy Trinity.

03.St. Agustin tower – The Church of St. Augustine in Goa was built between 1597 and 1602 and is now in ruins. The church was one of the three great Augustinian churches in the Iberian world.

04.Donapola view point – The most important attraction is the water sport facilities available here. The Dona Paula Sports Club offers water-scooter, cycle, and motorboat rides. Other water sports include windsurfing, parasailing, water-skiing, toboggan ski-biscuit, skibob, sports fishing, snorkeling, harpoon fishing, kayaking, and yachting.

05.White beach – Goa’s white sand beaches are known for their soft, fine grains, turquoise waters, and peaceful atmosphere.

North goa sightseeing

After breakfast start your journey to North Goa sightseeing as per the places mentioned below. And drop to Goa airport.
01.Calangute beach – Famous for its water sports, beach shacks, and nightlife,

02.Bhagha beach – Baga Beach, with its golden sands and swaying palm trees, is one of the most famous beaches in Goa. The beach is named after the ‘Baga Creek’ which flows into the Arabian Sea. 03.Aguada fort – The Aguada Fort Lighthouse erected in 1864 is the oldest of its kind in Asia. Built in 1612, it was once the grandstand of 79 cannons. It has the capacity of storing 2,376,000 gallons of water, one of the biggest freshwater storage of the time in whole of Asia.

04.The Birla Radha Krishna Mandir – Radha Krishna Temple ( Vasco ) The
Magnificent Radha Krishna Temple at the BITS Pilani Goa Campus in Zuarinagar, Sancoale Vasco is becoming the popular tourist spot in the State of Goa. This temple is an architectural wonder. During night time the temple is well illuminated with designer lights and looks fabulous.
